Construction works of worn wooden cultural heritage restoration started on 30th of April, 2015.

Condition of the wooden cultural heritage building was very poor until the start of construction works: foundation was fractured and wet, walls were cracking, the condition of roof and entablement construction was bad, roof and other items were replaced with non-genuine.

Construction works are being implemented according to project. Estimated completion date of restoration work is May of 2016. Project implementation is valuable not only because of preservation of the uniue cultural heritage, but also of increasing public awareness as well as developing local community. Project partners „Tailormade Interior AS“, „Arkitektkontoret Amundsen AS“ (Norway), „Simbahöllin ehf.” (Iceland) will contribute their human resources to sharetheir expertiseand thereforewill contribute to theobjectives of this project.
